Cambridge police responded to a bank at on Third street for a report of an individual later identified as Fritherson Jean-Baptiste, 26, of 33 Newtowne Court, Cambridge, attempting to withdraw fraudulent funds from his account. Upon arrival officers learned from the bank employees that Mr. Jean-Baptiste attempted withdraw $8,000 from his checking account. After gathering all the necessary information needed, Jean-Baptiste was placed under arrest for the following charges: Attempted Larceny Over $1200, Resisting Arrest and Uttering a False Check.

Officer assigned to River Street for speed enforcement observed a gray Toyota traveling at a high rate of speed. Upon stop the driver of the vehicle was identified as a Cambridge resident. The driver could not provide a driver's license on scene. A standard check for the license and registration revealed that the insurance had been cancelled and the car's registration was revoked for this. The driver was summoned/cited for speeding, operating after revocation of registration and no license in possession.
