While speaking with the driver, officers observed that she appeared disoriented and unable to speak clearly, and nodding off when not addressing officers. Officers also observed numerous drug paraphernalia items in the vehicle in plain view. During this time, the passenger, later identified as Gregory Natale, 35, 32 Elderwood Drive in Stoughton, began to act extremely erratically. At this time an exit order was enacted on both parties - the driver for suspicion of OUI and Natale for officer safety for his erratic behavior. Upon Natale exiting the vehicle, officers made plain view observations of a small clear plastic baggie containing a clear crystal like substance, later identified as methamphetamine, stuffed into the folds of the passenger seat near the seat belt buckle.
