Cambridge Police Make Arrest After Stabbing

Officers, Fire and EMS responded to the area of 808 Memorial Drive after a construction worker sustained a serious arm injury in a courtyard after being slashed by a male suspect with a knife. Initial reports came in around 2:37 p.m. The male victim was transported to a local hospital after Officers treated him on scene with a tourniquet. CPD was able to quickly locate and take the suspect into custody following cooperation from several witnesses. A knife was recovered by Officers in the area of the stabbing. The 36-year-old suspect from Cambridge was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault to Murder.
