A Somerville resident was summoned for Operating a Motor Vehicle after Revocation of Registration and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle subsequent to a traffic stop that was conducted after the license plate of his vehicle was run while traveling on a public way in the City of Cambridge and found to have a status of Revoked for Insurance Purposes.

A resident of Somerville states his bicycle was stolen from his office building located Broadway in Cambridge. The resident states the bicycle was locked up outside of the building when it was stolen on 1/12/2021.

Cambridge Police and Fire Units responded to a CambridgeSide business for a suspicious package in a parking garage. The item was cleared by a bomb tech with a K9 after it was investigated.

ATHENS ST
A resident of Cambridge states an unknown suspect stole $32,000 from her bank account. The suspect stated he worked for Amazon and informed the resident that she was due a refund for a recent purchase. The suspect was allowed access into the resident's bank account and he removed $32,000 from her account instead of depositing the refund. The stolen money was transferred to a bank in Thailand.
