Upon arriving on scene, it was determined that the traffic light pole had been struck by a motor vehicle and was in the roadway obstructing traffic. The involved motor vehicle fled the scene prior to Cambridge Police arrival.

CPD were dispatched to dispatched to a grocery store for a report of a possible shoplifting in progress. After a brief area search, a suspect was later identified and it was determined that he had not stolen anything from the store. However, during the investigation, it was determined that Jonathan Elliot, 35, homeless, had two warrants out of Boston District Court for Larceny from a Building and Possession of a Class A Drug.

Upon arriving on scene, responding Units observed two motor vehicles with substantial damage. Two involved parties were transported to a local hospital by ambulance for further treatment/evaluation.
