JAY ST
Justin West, 48, 820 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, was arrested after he was observed inside of a motor vehicle he did not have any right of access to and then being positively identified by a witness. West was found to be in possession of a screwdriver/flashlight tool and also a small plastic bag containing a white rock-like substance that was believed to be cocaine. West was charged with Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle Nighttime, Possession Burglarious Instrument, and Possession of Drug Class B.

A resident of Canton was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license after the motor vehicle was observed traveling 40 MPH in a posted 25 MPH zone on Main Street. The operator/owner was also issued a citation for failing to inspect the motor vehicle.

A resident of Cambridge states an unknown suspect forced entry into his locked storage unit that is located in the basement of his apartment building. The suspect stole the resident’s bike, sporting equipment and clothes.

A motor vehicle/pedestrian crash was reported on Massachusetts Avenue near Chauncy Street. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A resident of Cambridge states he sold a game console to an individual in November 2020 and the monetary transaction was completed through "Paypal." The resident now states that same individual who bought the console from him has since filed a claim with "Paypal" stating the November transaction was fraudulent. "Paypal" then removed the original monetary transaction from the resident’s account and returned that money to the individual who bought the console in November 2020.

B&E NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY C266 S16

MEMORIAL DR
Cambridge Police arrested Schanwat Wilailak, 33, 231 West Newton Street in Boston, for Breaking and Entering Nighttime for Felony. Prior to the arrest, Cambridge Police responded to a grocery store parking lot on Memorial Drive for a report of a male suspect rummaging through a motor vehicle. Wilailak was stopped and placed under arrest after a victim identified Wilailak as the Suspect. It should be noted that video footage of Wilailak was also obtained.
