02/28/202109:23 INCIDENT 21001335 LARCENY OVER $1200 C266 S30		CLIFTON ST A Clifton Street resident reported that an unknown person(s) gained access to his vehicle by unknown means and stole personal property from within. The vehicle was parked in front of his residence.
02/28/202111:17 INCIDENT 21001337 SHOPLIFTING BY ASPORTATION C266 S30A		JFK ST A Harvard Square business reported a shoplifting where a suspect placed merchandise inside of a shopping basket and fled the store without paying.
02/28/202115:11 INCIDENT 21001338 SHOPLIFTING BY ASPORTATION C266 S30A		MASSACHUSETTS AVE Cambridge Police responded to a store located on the 700 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a report of group of about 50 people on bicycles blocking the store’s entrance. Several people in this group went inside the store and shoplifted various items.

02/28/202118:13 INCIDENT 21001342		FAWCETT ST Cambridge Police responded to a Fawcett Street address to check the building for a suspicious person. Police cleared building without incident.
02/28/202118:52 INCIDENT 21001341 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY -$1200, MALICIOUS C266 S12		STANDISH ST Units responded to a residence on Standish Street for a report of malicious destruction at approximately 7 p.m.
02/28/202119:31 INCIDENT 21001343 MOTOR VEH, MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO C266 S28		GARDEN ST Cambridge Police responded to Garden Street for a report of malicious destruction to a motor vehicle. After arriving on scene and making contact with the reporting party/victim, it was confirmed that their vehicle had been damaged. Specifically, three unknown suspects threw rocks at the victim's motor vehicle. Responding Units canvassed the area in an attempt to locate the suspects. One suspect was stopped close by and identified and another suspect was able to flee the area.

02/27/202110:03 INCIDENT 21001320 IDENTITY FRAUD		CAMBRIDGE ST A resident reports that she was a victim of fraud. A suspect claiming to be from a bank obtained her social security number and opened a Zelle account, then transferred over $2000 from the resident’s bank account.

	02/26/202109:07 INCIDENT 21001287 ATTEMPT TO COMMIT CRIME C274 S6		MAGAZINE ST A resident of Magazine Street reports an attempt to scam her out of money by unknown individuals via email and phone conversations. The unknown individuals made efforts to get the victim to send them $8000 in department store gift cards.

The operator of the offending motor vehicle did not stop and make themselves known nor did he/she notify the police.

	02/26/202112:00 INCIDENT 21001295 A&B C265 S13A		AMES ST A resident of Cambridge was summonsed to court for Assault and Battery after police responded to a bank on Ames Street for a disturbance. The disturbance was called in by a bank employee stating an unknown male had punched another employee of the bank. The unknown male remained on scene and was identified.

	02/26/202114:35 INCIDENT 21001299 LARCENY UNDER $1200 C266 S30(1)		LEIGHTON ST A Waltham resident who used to live in Cambridge came to the police station to report a larceny. The woman explained that she used to sublet a room in an apartment in Cambridge until recently and her two tax refund checks were mailed to her former address. The female resident has admitted to her that her checks are in the apartment, but refuses to turn them over to her.

	02/26/202120:25 INCIDENT 21001312 OUI-LIQUOR C90 S24		WARE ST Cambridge Police responded to Ware Street after receiving a report of a motor vehicle striking several parked cars. After further investigation, Abbas Abdela, 62, 20 Ware in Cambridge, is being charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor after he admitted to consuming alcohol prior to operating his motor vehicle on a public way.
