FIFTH ST
Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Binney Street and Fifth Street, after a motor vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign located at the intersection of Third Street and Spring Street. It was discovered that the operator, a resident of Malden, was currently operating with a suspended license. As a result of the traffic stop, they were charged in Cambridge District Court with Operating a Motor Vehicle after Suspension and Failure to Yield at a Stop Sign.

PRINCE ST
A resident of Cambridge was summonsed for Attempting to Commit a Crime after he entered someone's backyard and tried stealing their bicycles. When the owner of the bicycles observed the suspect in his backyard trying to break the locks off the bikes, he confronted the suspect and scared him off. The victim was able to take a photo of the back side of the suspect as he was fleeing the area. Minutes later, the suspect was stopped two blocks away from the victim's house and was identified by officers.

A Cambridge resident reported being extorted out of $1,000 on March 23, 2021. The victim exchanged intimate photos with a woman online earlier this evening. She threatened to forward the images to all of his contacts on Facebook if he did not pay her $500. After he paid, the suspect threatened him once again for another $500. The victim paid the same amount a second time.
