A Malden resident was issued a Massachusetts Uniform Citation, in which he was summonsed and charged Operating Without a Valid Driver’s License. It was discovered that he did not have a valid driver's license after he was involved in a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Broadway and Tremont Street.

BELMONT STREET
A Belmont Street resident reported an incident regarding identity theft. He answered an advertisement on Craigs List to rent a short -term apartment. He began to believe the requested fee to rent the unit was an attempt to defraud him. After speaking with the suspect on the phone he decided not to pay. Unfortunately, the victim had already divulged a great deal of personal information to the suspect.

Cambridge Police responded to JFK Street and Memorial Drive for a report of an assault in progress. No one was harmed, officers cleared the scene.

MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE
Cambridge Police conducted a Motor Vehicle Stop. It was found the vehicle had a failed inspection sticker, suspended registration and the operator identified as Valdecemar Minski, 36, of 25 Preseley Street, Malden was operating his motor vehicle on a suspended license. Due to this, Minski will be charged with the following crimes: Operating a Motor vehicle with a Suspended License, Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration, and Failed Inspection Sticker.

CENTRE STREET
A Centre Street resident reported the theft of his bicycle. A suspect stole his bike from outside his home today between 8:00 and 8:15 AM. The bike was charcoal gray with green lettering and was valued at $1,900.
