A Cambridge cab driver approached a uniformed police officer in Harvard Square to report a past assault. No injuries were reported.

NEGLIGENT OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE C90 S24

BROADWAY
A resident of Cambridge was issued a Massachusetts Uniform Citation and summonsed and charged with Driving to Endanger and Open Container of Marijuana. The operator was observed by Officers operating a motor vehicle without a driver's side tire in a school zone. Upon placing a stop on the motor vehicle, Officers observed the driver remove a clear plastic soda cup from his coat pocket, which was filled with Marijuana.

SIXTH ST
The manager of a building that is located on Sixth Street states an unknown suspect entered the building through an unlocked door and damaged two interior doors within that building. This incident occurred sometime between February 2021 and 4/13/2021.

A Lambert Street resident reported being threatened and assaulted on April 13, 2021 at approximately 3 p.m. A male known to her threatened her two weeks ago and then assaulted her last week while she was at home. It is believed the suspect is staying somewhere within the building.

A Lambert Street resident reported being defrauded of $2,000. A suspect posing as a PayPal security officer scammed the victim by having her use the Cash App to transfer the funds to "secure" her account.

A Salem resident reported being harassed on April 13, 2021 at approximately 5 p.m. He stated he is continually harassed by a party known to him at various locations in Cambridge. The same party was alleged to have assaulted the victim last month.

NORTH POINT BLVD
Cambridge Police conducted a traffic stop in front of North Point Development. After an investigation, it was determined the operator was operating on a permit without anyone else in the vehicle. The driver is being charged with the following crimes: Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Equipment Violation, No Inspection Sticker, and Number Plate Violation.

Cambridge Police arrested Shawn Royston, 55, homeless, for a warrant out of Boston District Court for Disorderly Conduct and Miscellaneous Municipal Ordinance.
