Cambridge Police responded to the construction site at Vellucci Plaza located at the intersection of Cambridge Street and Hampshire Street for a report of a breaking and entering in progress. Once on location, officers observed a man inside the locked and fenced off construction site that matched the description given by the reporting party. The suspect was identified as Patrick Alessi, 38, Quincy. Alessi was placed under arrest and is being charged in Cambridge District Court with Trespassing. Alessi also had three warrants for Assault and Battery on Ambulence Personnel, Possession of a Class B Drug and Malicious Destruction of Property +$1,200.
