A Cambridge resident reported the theft of her wallet on April 25, 2021 at approximately 3 p.m. The theft occurred last evening between 8 and 8:30 p.m. in the mailroom of her building. The suspect then used a stolen debit card to rent a Blue Bike this afternoon.

A Lincoln resident reported the theft of a bicycle on April 25, 2021 at approximately 4 p.m. His road bike was stolen from a locked facility inside Cambridge Park Drive on April 14, 2021 between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The bike was light blue with white lettering and had a rear-rack.

Cambridge Police responded to Western Avenue and Hews Street for a motor vehicle crash with minor injury where one of the operators was possibly impaired. After an investigation, Kathryn Estabrook, 23, 1 Adams Avenue in Beverly, was placed into custody and charged with OUI Liquor.

WHITE ST
James Dube, 41, homeless, was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Asportation and Trespassing. Dube was observed by a local pharmacy employee taking several unpaid items and concealing them in his jacket. Cambridge Police arrived on scene and confronted Dube about the unpaid items in his jacket and Dube admitted that he was not going to pay for them. Dube was trespassed on scene by the assistant manager to not return to the store.

A Brighton resident reported the theft of her dog on April 24, 2021 at approximately 10:10 a.m. Her brother was to keep him overnight at his apartment on Fawcett Street. When she arrived in the morning to pick him up, she found the apartment had been broken into and her dog was missing. Her dog is a brown and white Caviston male valued at $3,200.00.

As a result of the response, Markeem Finklea-Sonlyen, 28, 16 West Street in Milton, was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Boston District Court for Malicious Damage to Property +$1200 and a warrant out of Cambridge District Court for Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon, Serious Bodily Injury.
