Cambridge Police responded to the area of Cherry and Harvard Street for a ShotSpotter activation. Two Cambridge residents were injured due to gunshots.

VAN NORDEN ST
Cambridge Police responded to a residence on Van Norden Street for a reported breaking and entering in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined a resident's property had been stolen from a locked shed. A search of the area yielded negative results for any suspects.

WARWICK PK
Cambridge Police responded to Warwick Park after a resident reported suspicious activity on her property. A brief search of the area and investigation led to the arrest of Keith Thoresen, 35, 17 Court Street in Boston. Thoresen will be charged with Possession of Burglarious Tools, Receiving Stolen Property, and Larceny Under $1200. Thoresen was found in proximity to the victim's residence and was in possession of their property and burglarious tools. Further, the theft was witnessed by a neighbor, who then called the police. Thoresen was found in possession of a Gap leather backpack with tags still intact with no proof of purchase or reasonable explanation of how he acquired it. Thoresen was also found with a pair of snow shoes with no proof of purchase. Thoresen stated these items had been donated to him.

Officers responding to a report of an unwanted female in the rear of the 800 block of Massachusetts Avenue and found the defendant and, in plain view, amongst her belongings, observed a baggy containing a substance believed to be Fentanyl.
