A resident of Oxford Street reports that on June 1, 2021, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., an unknown person(s) stole a bag containing a laptop computer and other personal items. The bag was placed on the sidewalk as the victim was loading items into his motor vehicle. He noticed it missing shortly thereafter.

Carlton Albert, 58, 70 Adamson Street in Boston, was arrested and charged with Drinking in Public. Albert was observed by Cambridge Police drinking alcohol while in a public plaza.

A resident of Cambridge Street reports that she was scammed out of approximately $1000 by someone posing on Facebook as a rescue dog organization. The victim sent money to this person thinking she was rescuing a dog, but the person has ceased making contact with her.

A resident of Franklin Street reports that on May 31, 2021 he was scammed out of a laptop computer by someone on Facebook Marketplace. The victim thought he had sold the laptop to an individual and shipped it to this person, however, the payment for the laptop was never transferred.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE REAR
Christopher Donlon, 40, homeless in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Receiving Stolen Property $1,200. Donlon was observed operating a blue moped that was reported stolen on May 26. Cambridge Police stopped Donlon to inquire about the blue moped and Donlon admitted to Police Officers that he did not own the moped nor have the right to operate it. Donlon was shortly placed under arrest for Receiving Stolen Property $1,200 and Donlon understood why he was being placed under arrest.

Gabriella Perrino, 26, homeless in Boston, was arrested on warrants out of Lowell District Court for Shoplifting by Asportation, Receiving Stolen Property -$1,200, Possession of Class C Drugs and Quincy District Court for Breaking and Entering for Misdemeanor and Larceny under $1,200.

Cambridge Police responded to the 100 block of Auburn Street for a motor vehicle crash where one of the operators was possibly impaired. After an investigation, Philip Baglini, 72, 55 Pearl Street in Cambridge, was charged with OUI Liquor.
