Cambridge Police Officers were on routine patrol in the Central Square area. As a result of a traffic stop, Jomaal Wolfe, 36, 81 Pond Street in Quincy, was taken into custody after it was concluded that Wolfe operated his motor vehicle on a public way after his Massachusetts driver's license had been suspended.

Cambridge Police Officers were assigned to the High Impact Patrol in the area of Central Square. While on patrol, a motorist completed an improper left turn from Massachusetts Avenue onto Prospect Street. While on the traffic stop, it was concluded that owner/operator was operating a motor vehicle on a public way while his Massachusetts Driver’s License was currently suspended. As a result of the stop, the Somerville resident was issued a criminal application for Operating a Motor Vehicle after License Suspension and Improper Left Turn (Posted).

QUINCY ST
Cambridge Police Officers responded to a motor vehicle crash located at Quincy Street. Upon arriving on scene, officers located two motor vehicles both sustaining heavy damage. One moped was deemed inoperable after it was stuck by a GMC pickup truck, which ultimately crashed into a near by pillar of a building. As a result of the crash, an operator was taken to a local hospital for injuries. After an investigation, it was concluded that Fabricio Lamounier De Araujomaia, 37, 160 Otis Street in Cambridge, operated a motor vehicle on a public way maintained by the City of Cambridge without a valid driver’s license. Lamounier De Araujomaia also admitted to officers that he had consumed multiple alcoholic beverages before operating the motor vehicle in question. He was taken into custody for OUI - Serious Bodily Injury and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
