Cambridge Police arrested Corey Lydon, 44, 11 Green Street in Cambridge, following an altercation observed by responding officers. Lydon recklessly and stopped traffic on Mass. Ave. to confront an individual across the street. Lydon began to scream and approach the victim while placing his hand on a concealed handle in his waist band in a verbally and physically threating manner. Lydon was stopped and admitted that the handle was of a knife concealed in his waist band. A pat frisk of Lydon revealed he was in possession of a concealed large machete. Lydon was subsequently charged with Disorderly Conduct while carrying a Dangerous Weapon and Assault by Means of Dangerous Weapon.
