Cambridge Police Officers responded to a Massachusetts Avenue pharmacy for a report of shoplifting. The suspect was stopped and positively identified as William Harrell, 53, 794 Massachusetts Avenue in Boston. Harrell had two warrants out of Dorchester and Brockton District Court and was charged with Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon after he was found in possession of a four-inch folding knife during the arrest.

An Elm Street resident reported being threatened on June 16, 2021 at approximately 8:10 p.m. The victim stated that he received several phone calls today. One was from an unknown female instructing him to wire cash through Western Union to "avoid trouble." A male suspect called him later on and made death threats against the victim and his family.
