Cambridge Police responded to a convenience store at Tech Square for a report of an unwanted party. Officers were met by the clerk, who stated that a young black female, later identified as Nadaija Lauture, 21, 59 Jackson Circle in Cambridge, wearing a white shirt and grey sweat pants had shoplifted a lighter from the store, exiting with the merchandise after a heated verbal exchange with the clerk, then re-entered the store and made her way into a marked employee-only area, refusing to leave after being told to do so by the clerk several times. After continued refusal to identify herself, Lauture was placed under arrest for shoplifting. While attempting to take Lauture into custody, she began to pull away from officers and flail her arms. After a brief struggle, Lauture was placed into handcuffs and transported to CPD HQ for booking. She was charged with Shoplifting by Asportation and Resisting Arrest.

Cambridge Police responded to a residence on Frost Street for a suspicious male possibly taking a bicycle. When Officers arrived, it was determined that an unknown male had broken into a motor vehicle taking multiple items and a bicycle from the backyard of that residence.

Cambridge Police were dispatched to the area of Franklin Street for a report of a disturbance involving three males fighting. Upon arrival, CPD Officers learned that one of the males – Steven Kane, 43, homeless -- was caught breaking into a motor vehicle and was attempting to steal items when confronted by the operator of the motor vehicle. attempted to assault two victims. Kane was transported to a local hospital for minor cuts and swelling to his face as well complaints of additional pain. He was additionally found to have a warrant out of Brockton District Court for Possession of a Class B Drug. Kane punched one victim as well as attempted to swing at a second victim and spit at him. Kane was also in possession of one of the victim's wallets, a GoPro camera, and other items at the time of incident.

Cambridge Police responded to Franklin Street for a report of drug activity. Once on scene, James Bean, 35, homeless out of Cambridge, was identified as the suspect in question. It was discovered that Bean had larceny and trespassing-related warrants out of Boston and Brighton District Courts. Bean was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrants.

Cedrick Fortune, 18, 152 Pleasant Street in Cambridge, was arrested for receiving a stolen motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with an open container of alcohol inside the vehicle. Two residents of Cambridge were also summonsed for receiving a stolen motor vehicle. Fortune was arrested after a Cambridge Police Officer confirmed that his vehicle was stolen out of Mattapan. When the motor vehicle was stopped at Bishop Allen Drive and Essex Street, Fortune was the operator of the vehicle. Inside the vehicle Fortune was operating was an open bottle of wine. The two passengers were summonsed for the incident due to the fact they were passengers inside the stolen motor vehicle and all parties involved refused to claim responsibility for the stolen vehicle.
