WARRANT ARREST REPORT

BROADWAY
Cambridge Police responded to a hotel on Broadway to investigate a report of a suspicious person. Hotel staff had provided the guest's name to CPD prior to calling and it was learned that the guest -- identified as Mark Chesley, 34, 25 10th Avenue in Haverhill -- had several warrants for his arrest. CPD responded to the room along with hotel security and made contact with Chesley inside the room. Chesley gave consent for CPD Officers/Detectives to search the room and numerous pieces of narcotics/paraphernalia were located in the room. Chesley stated that all the narcotics/paraphernalia were his property. A total of eight baggies of Methamphetamine with a total weight of 28 grams, and one bottle of suspected GHB with a weight of 1 ounce, were seized along with numerous plastic baggies and other paraphernalia. As a result of this investigation, Chesley will be charged with Drug Trafficking (Methamphetamine), and Possession of a Class A Substance (GHB).

GREEN ST
Cambridge Police observed a drug transaction in the area of Central Square. A motor vehicle stop was conducted in the area of Green Street and Pleasant Street. As a result of the incident, Anthony Brown, 30, 16 Everett Avenue in Dorchester, was placed under arrest for Trafficking in Fentanyl for being in possession of 17.3 grams of suspected Fentanyl and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon for being in possession of a set of brass knuckles that contained a hidden spring loaded knife. In addition, Sidney Amaral, 21, 1 Church Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for a warrant issued out of Malden District Court for Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon and a warrant issued out of Plymouth District Court for Assault and Battery.
