An East Boston resident reported getting into a car incident involving a parked motor vehicle. This individual reported that while driving suddenly the driver's side door of a vehicle parked on the right side was opened. SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE / EOD INVESTIGATION

GERRY STREET
Cambridge Police EOD responded to Gerry Street for a report of an unattended briefcase. Upon arrival the brief case was cleared by Tango 7 and K9 Rumba. It was determined to be an empty briefcase left out for trash day. The briefcase was disposed of in a trash barrel to prevent further calls for the same item.
