A Walden Street resident reported the theft of her bicycle on August 3, 2021 at approximately 5:40 p.m. Her vintage Fuji road bike had been locked to a fence in front of her home since 7:30 p.m. last evening. She discovered it had been stolen today at 7:30 a.m. The bike was Navy blue with gold lettering and had bright orange tape on the handle bars.

Cambridge Police arrested Kristin McCouch, 36, 19 Handcock Street in Everett, for warrants out of Cambridge District Court and West Roxbury Municipal Court. McCouch was seen in the rear parking lot of a pharmacy and was known to the Officers. Two plastic bags with a brown, powder-like substance, thought to be Fentanyl, were located inside of her pocketbook. Additionally, Officers found two credit cards. Subsequently, McCouch was arrested and charged with Possession of a Class A Substance and Receiving Lost Credit Cards.

Cambridge Police Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Western Avenue and Green Street. After, a motor vehicle was observed by officers taking an illegal left turn from Massachusetts Avenue onto Western Avenue. After approaching the female operator, it was concluded that the motor vehicle in question was not currently registered or insured. As a result, a resident of Boston was issued a Criminal Application for Improper Turn and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
