Cambridge Police responded to a Green Street parking lot for a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle in progress. Upon arrival, Brianne O'Donnell, 40, homeless, and Christopher Coates, 37, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, were found sleeping in a motor vehicle that the reporting party stated he saw two unhoused people enter. O'Donnell and Coates both were in possession of Class B (crystal methamphetamine) at this time. As a result, O'Donnell and Coates will be charged with Breaking and Entering for a Misdemeanor and Possession of a Class B Drug.

SIDNEY ST
Cambridge Police observed a vehicle operating on Erie Street proceed through the intersection onto Sidney Street without properly stopping at the stop sign. Officers conducted a traffic stop along Sidney Street and, as a result, Xilau Amilcar, 23, 55 Lewis Street in East Boston, was arrested for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. It was determined that Amilcar did not possess a valid driver’s license. He was also unable to produce a valid license from any other state or foreign country. He was also cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.

The Cambridge Police responded to the intersection of Green Street and Magazine Street for a motor vehicle crash against a bicyclist. Upon arrival, the vehicle was not involved with a bicyclist but with another vehicle.

MOTOR VEH, MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO C266 S28

BISHOP ALLEN DR
Cambridge Police were flagged down by a motorist on Mass Ave. and advised that there was a male party walking on Bishop Allen Drive who had just struck their motor vehicle with a metal pole. Officers began searching the area of Bishop Allen Drive when a male party, later identified as Michael Perry, 36, homeless out of Cambridge, threw two bricks towards an occupied police cruiser as it approached him. He also charged at the occupied cruiser and began waving a metal rod menacingly above his head while shouting wildly. Perry then approached another occupied police vehicle on Temple Street and swung the metal rod at the driver's side mirror causing damage. He continued swinging the rod menacingly at the officer operating the second cruiser. After utilizing various de-escalation techniques, Perry was eventually taken into custody without incident. As a result, Perry is being charged with six counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and three counts of Malicious Damage to a Motor Vehicle. Perry also had a warrant issued out of Cambridge District Court for Attempting to Commit a Crime.
