The Cambridge Police responded to the bus shelter at 2500 block of Mass Ave on a report of a suspicious package. Upon arrival, the package was cleared without incident.

DUDLEY ST
A Dudley Street resident reported a break-in to his motor vehicle on August 5, 2021 at approximately 3:20 p.m. A suspect entered his Ford F-150 truck and stole a backpack containing a Macbook Pro tablet and a Lenovo laptop computer. The center console and glove box had been rifled through as well.

UNLICENSED OPERATION OF MV C90 S10

JFK ST
Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of JFK Street and Eliot Street. As a result of the stop, an Acton resident was issued a Criminal Application for Unlicensed Operation Of Motor Vehicle and Unattended Motor Vehicle. The unattended motor vehicle was observed double parked and blocking a lane of traffic outside of JFK Street. A query of the motor vehicle yielded an expired license status for the owner and operator of the vehicle.

An Ohio resident reported hit-and-run damage to her vehicle on August 5, 2021 at approximately 4:40 p.m. An unknown motorist struck her Honda CRV sometime between 2:50 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. today while it was parked on the second level of a parking garage. The Honda sustained minor damage to the rear left above the license plate.

Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Mass Ave and Martin Street for an observed violation. As a result of the stop, an unregistered vehicle was towed from the scene and a citation was issued in-hand to the owner/operator.
