Officers observed a motor vehicle in the area and conducted a traffic stop after an inquiry resulted that the owner/operator currently had a Massachusetts Driver’s License Status Suspended. As a result, a resident of Cambridge was issued a summons for Operating after License Suspension.

A Somerville resident reported being swindled out of $1,230 on August 25, 2021 approximately 5 p.m. The victim had been threatened with arrest by a suspect claiming to be a Federal Agent. She was coerced into depositing the money in a Bitcoin account to clear the warrant.
