Cambridge Police responded to a Porter Square department store on a report of a suspect trying to exchange stolen merchandise for a cash payment at the customer service counter. As a result of an investigation, Emily Parsons, 32, 21 Chestnut Street in New Bedford, was placed under arrest for Larceny Over $1200 by Single Scheme and Receiving Lost Credit Cards. Parsons was also found to have multiple warrants out of Waltham District Court.

A resident of Waltham was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license, operating a motor vehicle after revocation of registration, and uninsured motor vehicle after they were observed operating their motor vehicle in the marked restricted bus-only lane in front of the 2500 block of Massachusetts Avenue. The operator was also cited for failing to wear a seat belt.
