Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit responded to a CambridgeSide Place business and conducted a sweep as a result of a mailed potential threat received by a business in Peabody. After an investigation, it was determined there was no credible threat.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit responded to the 1400 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a suspicious item. Upon arrival, the item was cleared by a bomb technician and K-9. The item was determined to be a cable internet switching hub and appeared to have been discarded. The hub was disposed of to prevent further calls for the same item.
