FIREARM OR AMMUNITION WITHOUT FID CARD, POSSESS C2

JACKSON CIR
Cambridge Police placed Tevin Brown, 29, 14 Grove Street in Chelsea, under arrest for Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License and Possession of Firearm or Ammunition without an FID card. Brown was placed under arrest after a 911 call was placed informing officers that an individual wearing a shiny red coat and light jeans had a firearm in his possession in the area of Rindge Avenue and Jackson Street. Officers were able to locate Brown, who was matching the description on Rindge Avenue in the area of Jackson Street. Brown ran down Jackson Street away from Rindge Avenue where Officers saw Brown reaching for his waistband. Brown continued to run on Jackson Street until Officers were able to catch up to him in cruisers. Brown ran down Clay Street where he was placed into custody by officers. Officers were then able to locate a loaded 9mm handgun on Jackson Street in the vicinity of where Brown was seen running by officers a short time after he was placed into custody.

BROADWAY
A Malden resident was summonsed for attaching plates, having an unregistered MV, and failing to stop for a red light. During the stop, it was discovered that the number plates that were attached to the car that the Malden resident was driving belonged to a different car. A check of the VIN on the car showed that the registration for this car was canceled and the car was currently unregistered.

LICENSE SUSPENDED/REVOKED, OP MV WITH C90 S23

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
Cambridge Police arrested Devron Brady, 30, 21 Oswego in Springfield, for the following charges: Revoked/Suspended License with Operation, Revoked/Suspended Registration with Operation, Attaching/Obscuring Number Plates Violation, Taking/Larceny of Motor Vehicle Plate, Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Number Plates Violation, Possession of a Class E Substance, and multiple Warrants out of Boston, Springfield and Worcester District Courts. Brady was initially stopped for having a tinted license plate cover after he was observed operating a motor vehicle on Alewife Brook Parkway. It was determined the motor vehicle plates were stolen out of Springfield. Furthermore, the motor vehicle Brady was operating did not match the motor vehicle and owner. During the traffic stop, Brady admitted he had a suspended license and knowingly stole the license plates of another before attaching them to his motor vehicle. Shortly thereafter, it was discovered that Brady was operating an Uninsured/Unregistered Motor Vehicle. Brady was later checked and confirmed for warrantsWhile Officers were conducting a motor vehicle inventory, they located an Unmarked Pill Bottle with 25 tablets of a Class E Substance.

Cambridge Police documented a larceny report that occurred at a residence on Massachusetts Avenue of their phone being stolen.
