BRATTLE ST
Cambridge Police was dispatched to Brattle Street for a report of a disturbance involving a suspicious white male who charged at resident in a menacing conduct earlier in the day and now has returned to the scene. A Cambridge Police Officer observed the suspect -- later identified as David Carr, 60, 444 Harrison Avenue in Boston, leaving Brattle Street and also observed Carr drinking in public out of a beer can. Carr was stopped by police not far from Brattle Street to investigate the incident. Carr was extremely belligerent and uncooperative when Officers attempted to get his side of the incident. Officers also spoke to the resident who stated that Carr charged at her which forced the resident party to retreat away in fear as she believed she was going to be struck by Carr. Carr was placed under arrest for Drinking in Public and Assault. While being booked, it was discovered that Carr had warrants from Boston and Cambridge District Courts.
