TEMPLE ST
Cambridge Police placed Lyle Oates, 34, unhoused out of Cambridge, under arrest for trespassing. He had been trespassed by Cambridge Housing Authority Property Management and Cambridge Police officially on 11/28/2022. Oates also had a warrant out of Boston District Court for Resisting Arrest, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Trespassing, and Disorderly Conduct.

A Boston resident was summonsed for operating without a license. She was initially stopped for speeding. During the stop, it was discovered that the operator did not have a license to operate a motor vehicle.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A resident of Rindge Avenue reported a past larceny that occurred at fitness center located atMassachusetts Ave. An unknown suspect(s) took keys to the victim's motor vehicle from a gym locker and then entered the motor vehicle. The reporting party stated $200 in US currency along with four credit/debit cards were taken. The stolen credit/debit cards were later used in both Boston and Cambridge.

A resident from Memorial Drive contacted the Cambridge Police to report a larceny that occurred on 12/7/22. The reporting party stated two North Face coats and a bottle of perfume were possibly taken (stolen) by a moving company assigned by the management to move residents due to ongoing renovations in the building.

A resident from Columbia Street contacted the Cambridge Police to report a past larceny. The reporting party stated an older iPhone, along with a Capitol One credit card and wallet, was stolen by contractors working in the apartment.

Cambridge Police received a call from Boston Police in regard to an email that was sent to a university referencing a threat. Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance responded to a Memorial Drive address and conducted a sweep with an explosive detection K9 and nothing suspicious was located.

GRANITE ST
Cambridge Police responded to Pearl Street for a report of a hit and run crash with property damage. A witness was able to capture a picture of the suspect truck as it was leaving the scene, the operator of the truck was identified and a report was taken.

THIRD ST
A resident from Third Street contacted the Cambridge Police to report she was victim of flim flam. She was swindled out of over $5,000 in gift card purchases earlier this month.

A resident from Chatham Street contacted the Cambridge Police to report his vehicle was broken into this past weekend. A Mass driver's license and vehicle registration were taken along with a restaurant gift card and prescription bottle containing Adderall pills.
