Cambridge Police responded to a business on the 500 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a shoplifting reported by the loss prevention team. As a result of this response, Christopher Macinnes, 40, 64 Gibson Street in Medford, was placed under arrest for having a warrant out of Brighton District Court and charged with Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise for concealing over $900 of merchandise in his bag, pants pockets, and under his jacket with no intent to pay for the merchandise and stating to officers that the merchandise was his and he did not take anything.

A resident of Temple Street reported a past break into their residence. The victim reported an unknown person entered their room on two separate occasions. One time the victim found clothing had been moved in a dresser drawer. On another occasion the victim woke to find their pajamas were soaked and smelled of body odor. There was no sign of forced entry into the apartment.
