Cambridge Police were monitoring traffic in the area of Brookline Street and Massachusetts Ave. At this time, Officers observed a gray Toyota Camry with a defective brake light. A query of the vehicle's registration revealed information to another vehicle. As a result of a motor vehicle stop, a Quincy resident was summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Attaching Plates, Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Unregistered Motor Vehicle.

Cambridge Police responded to the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Cameron Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a cyclist. Upon further investigation, officers were made aware that the operator of the motor vehicle did not have an active driver’s license when operating the motor vehicle eastbound on Massachusetts Avenue and attempted to make an improper left turn onto Cameron Avenue. As a result, a Malden resident was summonsed for Operation of a Motor Vehicle without a License and Improper Left Turn. The cyclist left the scene after being evaluated by medical professionals without incident.

Cambridge Police responded to a department store located in Central Square for a report of a Shoplifting. Officers located the suspect after a detailed description was provided. The stolen merchandise was returned to loss prevention. Further, the suspect had been issued a Trespass notice. Loss prevention was satisfied with the stolen property being returned and were not interested in pursuing criminal charges at this time.

A department store called to report a shoplifting. Upon arrival, officers located a suspect nearby and escorted him back to the store. The man was identified and released. The store got back the merchandise.

Officers were dispatched to a department store in Central Square for a man who had shoplifted a twelve pack of beer and was walking towards a nearby bus stop. The beer was left unattended on a bench. While bringing beer back security for the store pointed out the subject who was crossing the street. The gentleman was stopped and escorted back to the store.
