A resident at Winthrop Street reports one resident threatening to punch another resident in the face. Upon speaking to all parties involved, it was learned that the incident was verbal and staff of the shelter was notified of the incident.

BROADWAY
Cambridge Police responded to the intersection of Broadway and Felton Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian sustained a laceration to her left eyebrow; she was treated for her injuries on scene by medical professionals and transported to a hospital in Boston by an ambulance for further evaluation. The driver was issued a citation for failure to stop for a pedestrian at a crosswalk.

SOMERVILLE AVE
A Porter Square business contacted Cambridge Police for assistance with a known shoplifter. The involved person, identified as Amy Bassett, 56, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, was located outside the business and identified by loss prevention staff as the female who was observed stealing from their store. In addition to shoplifting $89.11 worth of merchandise, Bassett was found to have four warrants from Cambridge District Court and one warrant from Dorchester District Court for various charges. Bassett was placed under arrest by Cambridge Police on the warrants and an additional charge of Shoplifting by Asportation.
