ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
Cambridge Police responded to Alewife Brook Parkway for a report of a disturbance. On arrival, Officers were met by loss prevention who stated that two females had shoplifted from the store and then assaulted loss prevention personnel as they attempted to detain them and recover the merchandise. When he confronted them, one suspect pushed him multiple times, attempted to punch him, got in his face and threatened him repeatedly, then ripped the bag containing concealed merchandise out of his hand before fleeing the premises with the other suspect. Loss prevention provided security video of the two suspects to officers, which was disseminated to units in the area. Officers located a party matching the description of one of the suspects in front of Alewife Brook Parkway. The suspect, later identified as Lisa Brown, 58, 479 Concord Avenue in Cambridge, was hostile toward officers and extremely uncooperative. She refused to answer any questions, and provided a false name and information to officers. The other suspect was later identified as Felina Jacques, 56, 479 Concord Avenue in Cambridge, was located by officers matching the description given by the victim and the pictures provided by loss prevention. Brown was placed under arrest for unarmed robbery, shoplifting by concealing merchandise, and furnishing a false ID to law enforcement. Jacques was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise and Unarmed Robbery.
