MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police arrested Hector Quinones, 47, 27 Greendale Road in Boston, for larceny under $1,200. A local business in Central Square on Massachusetts Avenue alerted police of a suspect leaving their store without paying. Police put a stop on Quinones as he exited the store per the request of the business. Quinones had 36 items totaling $277.74 worth of merchandise on his person with no receipt or way to pay for the items.

Complaints will be sought in Cambridge District Court against a resident of Quincy charging him with Failure to Stop - Stop Sign and Failure to Submit to a Police Officer. As a result of a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Green Street and Magazine Street for failing to stop for a stop sign, the driver was also cited for refusing to submit to a police officer after he repeatedly ignored requests from the officer to produce his driver's license.
