Cambridge Police responded to a hospital for a female who had pulled a knife on hospital staff. While units were responding, dispatchers informed Officers that the suspect had gotten on a MBTA bus in front of a hospital. Upon arrival, hospital security officers were with the MBTA bus. Security officers directed officers towards the suspect who was sitting in the back of the bus fitting the given description. The suspect was identified as Jeanmarie Quigley, 35, unhoused. As a result of a search, a pocket knife was found inside her bag. Following further investigation, Quigley was placed under arrest for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.

Cambridge Police responded to a school on Broadway for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Specifically, a bicyclist crashed into an open door of a parked motor vehicle. All parties remained on scene. The bicyclist sustained minor injuries and was treated and evaluated by an ambulance, but declined transport for further treatment/evaluation. A citation was issued.

While conducting outreach/community engagement at Central Square, officers encountered a group openly drinking alcoholic beverages in Carl Barron Plaza. Officers observed Daniel Mervin, 40, 362 Green Street in Cambridge, drinking from an open container of alcohol after he was repeatedly told to stop drinking. Mervin was placed under arrest for drinking in public, resisting arrest, assault and battery shod foot and assault and battery on a police officer.
