MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a reported motor vehicle crash with personal injury. Upon arriving on scene, it was determined that a bicyclist was struck by a motor vehicle in traffic. The motor vehicle did not stop and fled the area. The bicyclist sustained minor lacerations/abrasions and denied any form of medical treatment/evaluation on scene.

A resident of Cambridge was summonsed for attaching the wrong number plates to a motor vehicle. Police initially noticed the car had Ohio number plates with an expired registration sticker. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the vehicle was registered in Massachusetts, however, the operator was displaying her old expired Ohio plates despite the fact that the car had been registered in Massachusetts since June of 2022.

Cambridge Police arrested Marie Anne Costa, 47, 11 Inman in Cambridge, for Shoplifting Asportation after she was witnessed by asset protection conceding items into a bag, as well as Malicious Destruction under $1,200 after she was witnessed by Asset Protection ripping a hanger of merchandise off the wall causing damage to the wall.
