Cambridge Police responded to the area of Belmont Street for the report of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. It was reported that the pedestrian was jaywalking and ran between two vehicles when they were struck by the driver’s side mirror of one of the vehicles which caused them to fall back onto the second vehicle. The pedestrian sustained injuries to their left foot and right knee and were transported to the hospital for further evaluation. No citations were issued, and a crash report was taken.

Cambridge Police responded to Mass Avenue near Sheppard Street for motor vehicle crash involving a motorized scooter. The operator of the scooter reported that they were attempting to cross to the opposite side of Mass Avenue when they collided with the motorist. The operator of the scooter sustained injuries to their tailbone and scrapes but refused medical treatment on scene and took a rideshare service to the hospital. No citations were issued, and a crash report was taken.

A Loss Prevention member of a Central Square business witnessed a suspect conceal an item and soon afterwards exit the store without paying. Within minutes Cambridge Police located the suspect and escorted them back to the business where the merchandise was returned and a No Trespass Order was issued to the suspect.
