Officers observed an individual riding on a bicycle going in the wrong direction on Franklin Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Western Avenue and Franklin Street, but the individual ran off. At one point, the individual assaulted an officer while being apprehended. Michael Castallucci, 40, of Wareham, was placed under arrest for an active arrest warrant out of New Hampshire. Two officers were transported to the hospital for injuries. A report was taken.
