Police responded to a disturbance in Central Square. The reporting party told officers they knocked on a restroom door and an individual exited with a large knife threatening to hurt people. John Gagnon, 35, unhoused, was placed under arrest for assault with a dangerous weapon (60+).

Officers observed a motor vehicle with license plate that was registered to a different vehicle. The driver was summonsed to Cambridge District Court for operating an unregistered vehicle, operating an uninsured vehicle, and attaching plates.

Police responded to the 200 block of Third Street for a motor vehicle crash involving a bicyclist. The driver was located by other officers a short distance away. The bicyclist sustained injuries and was taken to a Boston hospital to be evaluated. The driver, a Somerville resident, was summonsed to Cambridge District Court for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a vehicle with an expired license, leaving the scene of a personal injury crash, and failure to yield at an intersection.
