Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop near the intersection of Putnam Avenue and River Street after observing a vehicle with a rear taillight out. Investigation revealed that the owner and operator of the vehicle also had a suspended license. The operator failed to stop for police, striking another vehicle and almost hitting an officer in the process.

Police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Main Street and Ames Street after observing a vehicle with dark window tint. Markens Jean-Baptiste, 24, of Cambridge, MA was arrested for Drinking Alcohol from an Open Container in a Motor Vehicle, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Open Container of Marijuana in a Motor Vehicle, and Motor Vehicle Operator Refuse to Identify Self. Jean-Baptiste was also issued a citation for Nontransparent Windows and License Not in Possession.
