Police responded to the 0 block of JFK Street for a motor vehicle crash involving a scooter. The operator of the motor vehicle opened the driver’s side door, causing the individual riding the scooter to hit the opened door and further crash into another motor vehicle. The operator of the scooter was transported to a local hospital to be treated for injuries and the operator of the motor vehicle was issued a traffic citation.
