The operator of a transportation van reported their vehicle was sideswiped by an 18-wheeler making a turn on the 1200 block of Cambridge Street. The truck did not stop to exchange insurance information. No injuries were reported.

Officers on patrol, on the 1300 block of Massachusetts Avenue, observed an individual known to have a warrant. After confirmation of the warrant, Mark F. Mohr, 66, of Cambridge was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Cambridge District Court. Mohr was also charged with Sex Offender Fail to Register.

While responding, Officers were updated that the individual pulled the fire alarm box, causing the alarm to sound, and the building to close and fire department to respond. Sean Leonard, 39, of Boston, was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct, Trespassing, and Tampering with a Fire Alarm.

Police responded for an intoxicated individual who refused to leave a business on the 700 block of Massachusetts Avenue. James Geldern, 43, of Quincy, was placed under arrest for trespassing. During the booking process, Geldern kicked an officer who was trying to help him with his soaking wet pants. Geldern was also be charged with assault and battery on a police officer.

Police responded for a motor vehicle crash at the 0 block of Brattle Street. One of the motor vehicle’s left the scene and hit another vehicle further up on Brattle Street. Officers located the vehicle and determined the operator was intoxicated. Jean-Francois Hugot, 52, of Cambridge was placed under arrest and charged with OUI-Liquor 3rd offense after it was determined that he had two prior convictions for OUI-Liquor, and leaving the scene of person injury.

Police responded for a disturbance on a bus at Binney Street and Second Street. Reporting parties believed the individual causing the disturbance had a weapon. The individual told witnesses not to talk to the police. Robert Brooks, 48, of Boston, was placed under arrest for two warrants out of Brighton Municipal Court. Brooks is also charged with witness, juror, court official intimidation and carrying a dangerous weapon (knife).
