Police responded to a business on the 500 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a report of shoplifting. As a result, Asia Carrion, 31, of Boston, MA was arrested for Shoplifting by Asportation as well as for warrants out of Boston District Court, Roxbury District Court, and Cambridge District Court.

Police responded to a business on the 0 block of Hampshire Street for a report of malicious damage of property and threats. The suspect verbally threatened staff within the establishment and further smashed a pumpkin on the ground that belonged to the business.

Police responded to a business on the 200 block of Main Street for a report of shoplifting in which the suspect stole a clothing item. Shortly after, officers located, stopped, and identified the suspect in a nearby alley. The stolen merchandise was returned to the involved business, and the suspect was informed they would be summonsed to court for the offense.

A Cambridge resident reported their bicycle seat had been stolen from their bicycle and replaced with a cheaper seat. This incident occurred on the 200 block of Broadway, and the original bicycle seat was valued at around $160.

Police conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle after officers observed the operator pass several cars on the left and proceed through a red light without stopping. After further investigation, officers discovered that the operator did not have a motorcycle license classification. As a result, the operator was informed they would be summonsed to court for Operating a Motor Vehicle in Violation of License Class, Marked Lanes Violation, and Fail to Stop/Yield.

Police responded to a construction site on the 0 block of Whittemore Avenue for a report of a past breaking and entering. Although the suspect did not gain access to the inside of the building, the reporting party stated that the back door was bent and the lock on the gate of the site was cut. The estimated cost of damages to the lock and door are between $2,200 and $3,200.

Police responded to an establishment on the 1400 block of Cambridge Street for a report of a past larceny in which the suspect stole the victim’s personal property, including their cell phone, purse, credit cards, cash, and clothing. Officers were able to later identify the suspect caught on the security footage. The suspect will be summonsed to court for the offense.
