Police responded to a business on the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave for the report of a shoplifter detained by loss prevention. After further investigation, it was determined that the individual intentionally took items to self-checkout and concealed 3 items by not scanning the price tag, placing them in a bag, and attempting to leave the store. As a result, this individual will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for 1 count of shoplifting by concealment.

After a short investigation, it was found that an Individual intentionally concealed merchandise offered for sale by the business. As a result, the individual will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for Shoplifting by concealment.

Police responded to the 0 block on Bennett St for reports of an assault that had had just occurred. The assault happened in the Harvard Square area on the 0 block of University Road. Both parties declined medical attention and did not want to pursue charges. As a result, a report was taken.

SOMERVILLE AVE
Police responded to the 800 block on Somerville Ave for a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the individual provided three different false names. Zachary Wallace, 38, of Boston was later identified and placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Asportation, False name or social security after arrest and resisting arrest. It was also discovered that Wallace had two warrants out of Boston District Court.
