MASSACHUSETTS AVE & PROSPECT ST

Police responded to the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Prospect Street for a report of a road rage incident where the suspect displayed a firearm to the victim. As a result, Sylvester Joseph-Dickerson, 26, of Cambridge, MA, was arrested for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon as well as multiple firearms charges.

BROADWAY

Police responded to the 200 block of Broadway for a report of a stolen package. The package contained items valued at around $85.

COLUMBIA ST

Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on the 200 block of Columbia Street after observing a motorcycle fail to stop for a red traffic light. Further investigation revealed that the operator did not have the necessary documents to operate a motorcycle. As a result, the operator out of Boston, MA, was issued a criminal motor vehicle citation for failing to stop for a red light and operating a motorcycle without a proper driver’s license.

Police responded to a business on the 600 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a report of shoplifting in which the suspect stole various makeup products from the establishment before fleeing the area.

BROADWAY

Police responded to a business on the 200 block of Broadway for a report of shoplifting in which the suspect concealed approximately $77 worth of clothing items and attempted to steal them. Officers were able to locate, stop, and identify the suspect. As a result, Henry Gomez, 30, of Boston, MA, was arrested for Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise.

Police responded to a business on the 700 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a report of property damage. Specifically, one of the establishment’s windows was shattered and the damage was valued at approximately $2,000.

Police responded to a business on the 500 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a report of shoplifting in which the suspect concealed about $107 worth of various items and attempted to leave the establishment without paying for them. Loss prevention personnel then detained the suspect and formally trespassed them from the property. The suspect, a resident of Lawrence, MA, was also informed that they would be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for the offense.

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY

Police responded to a business on the 100 block of Alewife Brook Parkway for a report of shoplifting in which the suspect stole approximately $912 worth of merchandise. Officers were able to locate, stop, and identify the suspect. As a result, Jacob Wainwright, 41, of Cambridge, MA, was arrested for Shoplifting $250+ by Asportation.
