CAMBRIDGE ST
The Traffic Enforcement Unit was conducting a directed patrol around Cambridge Street and Columbia Street. Officers observed a motorist operating a motor vehicle while using their cellular phone. A traffic stop was conducted. During the stop, officers determined the operator of the car had a suspended license stemming from a previous OUI case. Stanley Resendes, 44, of Somerville was placed under arrest for impeded operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle after license suspension from an OUI.
