Police stopped a motor vehicle in Central Square for multiple motor vehicle infractions. When officers stopped the vehicle, officers determined the driver had a suspended license. During the stop, officer found a Class B drug substance. Derek Lydon, 43, unhoused, was placed under arrest for Possession of a Class B Substance- Crack Cocaine Subsequent, Operate Motor Vehicle After License Suspension, One Way Violation and MV Lights Violation.

Police responded to the 100 block of Richdale Avenue for a larceny of a motor vehicle in progress. Cambridge Police located the stolen vehicle’s location. Officers conduct a motor vehicle stop at Blanchard Road and Glenn Road. As a result of this investigation, Cambridge Police arrested Evan Pierre, 27, of Rhode Island for Motor Vehicle, Larceny, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and a default misdemeanor warrant out of Wrentham District Court.
