    While on patrol, an officer observed a parked vehicle with a visible violation. It was learned that the vehicle had illegally attached plates, it was not registered or insured. The vehicle was towed and the owner, a Revere resident, will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court.

    Police responded to a business on the 1300 block on Massachusetts Ave for a shoplifting. A store employee reported an individual had taken $179 in merchandise. Officers stopped the male nearby, he was identified and formally trespassed from the store. All the merchandise was recovered.

    Police responded to a business on the 800 block of Somerville Ave for an unwanted person. A store employee reported an individual, who is known to them from prior incidents as Christopher MacInnes, 42, of Chelsea, had entered the store and stolen $65 in merchandise. Officers located MacInnes nearby, he was subsequently placed under arrest on a charged Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise - 3rd Offense.
