Police responded to a report of a security guard brandishing a firearm on the 1900 block of Massachusetts Ave. Upon arrival, Officers spoke to the head of security for the event and confirmed none of the staff was armed. The head of security then informed officers that they had received information that this may have been a "swatting" incident.

ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
Police responded to a shoplifting on the 200 block of Alewife Brook Pkwy. Upon arrival, officers observed the suspect riding away on a bicycle and were able stop the suspect, later identified as Jamie Michael Nucci, 52, of Cambridge. Nucci was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Asportation. During a search incident to arrest, officers located two credit cards from another person, property from another local business with tags and theft detection devices still attached. Mr. Nucci is also currently on the no trespass list at the business where he shoplifted from. Accordingly, Mr. Nucci will be charged with Shoplifting by Asportation 2nd Offense, Trespass, and Receiving a Lost Credit Card.

Police responded to speak with a person on Creighton St. During the interaction officers learned that Vivian Fravien, 35, of Cambridge had an active warrant for their arrest from Fall River District Court. Fravien was subsequently placed under arrest.

Police conducted a wellness check on Walden Square Rd. One of the involved persons, identified as Marlone Phillip, 51, of Jamaica Plain, was found to have an active warrant for their arrest from Boston Municipal Court. Phillip was subsequently placed under arrest.

Police responded to the intersection of Hampshire St & Webster Ave for a report of a crash between a car and a bicycle. The bicyclist claimed minor injury but declined to be transported to a hospital.

RECKLESS OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLE C90 S24
BROOKLINE ST & PUTNAM AVE
Police responded to a report of a crash at the intersection of Brookline St & Putnam Ave. The reporting party claims an individual crashed into their car at 50 mph and fled the scene with a bottle in their hand. Officers were directed to the building that the individual entered into after the crash. While officers spoke with the individual, identified as Stanley Blidgen, 28, of Cambridge, they observed them to have slurred speech, glassy eyes and an odor of an Alcoholic Beverage. It was also learned that Blidgen license was suspended and they had three warrants for their arrest. Police arrested Stanley Blidgen, 28, of Cambridge, MA on charges of Leaving the Scene of Property Damage (90/24/A), Operating to Endanger (90/24), OUI liquor (90/24/J), Failure to Stop (89/9), Operating with a suspended license (90/23), and three warrants. During the booking process the defendant threatened to assault officers so a charge of Threats to Commit a Crime was added.
