    Police responded to the 100 block on CambridgeSide PL for a shoplifting. A store employee reported that a suspect had taken approximately $20 in merchandise.

    Police responded to business located on the 500 block of Massachusetts Avenue for a shoplifting. Store staff reported a suspect had taken an estimated $108 in merchandise. The suspect was stopped and identified as a Revere resident, they will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for one count Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise.

    ALEWIFE BROOK PKWY
    A police officer on detail at a business located on the 200 block of Alewife Brook Parkway was made aware of a shoplifting by store staff. The officer stopped the individual, identified as Warren Kenyon, 30, Boston. During the interaction the officer learned that Kenyon had a warrant for their arrest from Quincy District Court. Upon learning he would be arrested Kenyon took off, leading officers on a foot pursuit in which one officer sustained minor injuries. Kenyon was apprehended and placed under arrest on the warrant, he will face additional charges of Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise and one count of Resisting Arrest with regard to this incident.

    Police took a report for a shoplifting from a business located on the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave. A store employee stated an unknown person had taken merchandise valued at approximately $50.

    CARDINAL MEDEIROS AVE & HARDWICK ST
    Police responded to the intersection of Cardinal Medeiros Ave and Hardwick Street for a report of a disturbance. Emergency Communications received multiple calls about a male yelling in the middle of the road with their pants at their ankles. Officers located the male and positively identified his as Walter Smith, 40, unhoused. Smith was placed under arrest when it was found he had an active warrant out of Roxbury District Court. During a search incident to arrest officers recovered a stolen iPad and a baggie of what is believed to be Methamphetamine. Smith will face additional charges of Receiving Stolen Property and Drug Possession.

    Police responded to the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Pleasant Street for a bicyclist struck by a motor vehicle with no reported injuries. As a result, a report was taken.

    Police responded to an establishment on the 1100 block of Cambridge Street for a report of a glass break alarm. Upon arrival, Officers discovered that the front window of the establishment had been smashed and the interior was ransacked. Further investigation revealed that three suspects forced entry into the establishment and stole numerous merchandise items and cash from the register.

    Police responded to the 1400 block on Massachusetts Ave for a shoplifting. A nearby detail officer was able to detain the suspect, later identified as Jeffrey Solomon, 54, Unhoused. A store employee reported Solomon had stolen $305 in merchandise.

    Police conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle in the 700 block of Massachusetts Ave for several observed violations. During the stop it was learned that the motorcycle was not properly insured and that the operator, a Revere resident, was not properly licensed. The motorcycle was towed and operator will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on related charges.
